The stunning home won the Queensland Building Designers Association & Queensland Master Builders Award Winning Design for Best Renovation. The project brief for this job was to re-plan and utilise as much of the existing house as possible for garage and bedrooms, then add a new light filled open living area on ground level with Master suite over, both opening to the North with a view over the pool and landscaped yard.
To ensure to achieve privacy yet also allow the natural light to reach the main bedroom, an oversized sliding door panel was mounted at the edge of the room which overlooked the living room void. To achieve this we supplied custom length top mounted track and fittings which were mounted in the ceiling creating a sliding partition type wall. Our Concept cavity units were also used in the ensuite, bathroom and bedroom doors maximising the space between rooms.
