Multi-residential

One of the originating concepts behind this project was to create an open and light-filled home, to initiate a harmonious relation between architecture and ocean. Created in partnership with Vic Lake Architects, Saltaire is a development comprising 10 luxury ocean-front apartments and an underground basement. Set over five stories, these stunning apartments demand attention along the beachside strip.

The seaside environment required strict consideration in selecting the external finishes and materials. Natural stone cladding and earthy tones expressed a minimalistic building language and provided a visually comfortable outcome relating to the coastal context. The internal finishes complements the external selection with a strong bias towards neutral tone materials, such as natural stone floors and timber slatted walls.

Saltaire invites tranquility, firmness, functionality and nature. The Zero Clearance was an obvious choice for the sliding doors through achieving an aesthetic feel with high quality sliding doors to the bathrooms and walk in pantry. This extends the minimalist feel to the doorways, ensuring best use of space and natural flow.
