The brief for The Granton was to design the next generation of premium one, two- and three-bedroom apartments in a boutique development catered specifically to the needs of an active 60+ demographic. Basking in natural light, each of the 35 apartments combines the latest open-plan design principles with timeless elegance. The result is a feeling of casual warmth, ideal for entertaining or enjoying comfort and relaxation. The complex has one, two and three-bedroom apartments with generous terraces, balconies and living areas. Contemporary, light-filled interiors exude a relaxed elegance.
The vision for The Granton was to provide an environment that would complement and enhance the needs and lifestyles of residents both now and in the future. The Granton is set apart by its boutique apartment living with unrivalled access to support spaces that can adapt over time to the changing needs and demands of the residents. This meant using sliding door solutions that would function well yet be reliable to last well into the future. The Concept cavity units were used across the project. With a raised track profile this ensures the wheels are always engaged and prevent the rollers jumping on the track making for a smooth quiet slide each and every time.
